Has someone told you "you only need a pest report done?"

Are you considering buying a house in foreclosure?  Think you're getting a good deal?

Are you a home seller wanting to position yourself to get the maximum return on your investment?

Are you a first time home buyer who wants to be responsibile in your home buying investment decision?

Has anyone told you not to get a home inspection, or that you couldn't get a home inspection because it's "banked owned" or because it's a "short sale?"

Do you need a city code inspector? An architect? An engineer? A pest control operator? A general contractor?

Get the facts before
making an investment.

Contact us by phone at 360-598-3988.  We will be more than happy to take the time to answer your questions and help you understand the importance of a home inspection.

We know that buying a home is an emotional experience. It’s also most likely one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make.

Whether you’re buying your very first home, your dream home, your retirement home, or an investment property, what you don’t want is to close escrow and then find out your new house needs major structural work, an electrical upgrade, roof repairs, or that is has a bad drainage system, plumbing problems, or pests.

A home is a place to live, but it’s also a significant investment.

Doing your homework and understanding your investment empowers you to make the best possible decisions. Our job is to educate you about your home and give you valuable maintenance and repair information that will help you not only during the purchasing process, but in the future as well.

About 70% of the homes we inspect are in pretty good shape.

They have no major problems and, if anything, need only minor repairs or maintenance. It’s the other 30% of homes that cause potential home buyers to take a step back, consider their purchase decision, and perhaps re-negotiate with the seller.

Rolling the dice, gambling and hoping that the house you’ve made an offer on is one of the 70% without major issues, is risky.

It’s far preferable to make the important decision about whether or not to buy a home with all the available information in your hands – in detail, in writing.

Be sure to visit the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) web site...
